Lady Tigers go a record 0-6 in conference play

Abstract:
The Jackson State Lady Tiger's basketball team lost on Monday, Jan. 19 to Prairie View A&M 85-64. With that loss they are 0-6 in conference play.

The Lady Tigers are not playing with the style and swagger they had last year to become 2008 SWAC Champions and earned a bid to the NCAA tournament where they eventually lost to Final Four LSU Tigers in the first round....

To my son very Good article but you were hard on your JSU Lady Tigers. As a former player in athletics alot of things have to go right for you to have a Good Team throughout the season. You need a mix of leadership amongst the players from Seniors thru Freshman, stay injury free and LUCK to. Sometimes as a player when you are in a losing streak the balls nor calls fall your way. All I can say is hang in there "JSU Lady Tigers" and the sun will shine again. Just start now preparing for next season with your conditioning and hitting the weight room it really does pays off. As for the mens "JSU Tigers" that was a nice run in the tourney over the past weekend and coming up just short against Alabama St. I wanted to see you make the NCAA tourney and upset a few of the major schools. Well you have the right Coach in Anderson, I remember him when he was an assitant at Towers High School my sons alma mater back in the 80's when I was at Columbia High in Decatur, Ga. Keep up the Good Work Son, Luv You
